How a freight job moves from quote to delivery
This is the path a job takes once you ask Atwal Logistics to move it. The quote stays the starting point. What follows is how we coordinate the freight with a transport partner through to delivery.
The quote
We need the pickup suburb, the delivery suburb, the approximate weight, and who to reply to. We come back with a transparent, all-in number. There are no hidden fees. We reply within 2 hours, or you get $50 credit.
Matching the freight
The load is matched to the service it actually needs, and to the right carrier for that job. The match is not based on which carrier pays us the most.
- Full truckload when the freight needs a dedicated trailer and the most direct route. That suits a large or time-critical consignment going to one place.
- Less than truckload when you should only pay for the space you use. Smaller loads are consolidated so they still move.
- Time-sensitive freight when the deadline is non-negotiable. That job gets priority capacity, live updates, and a straight answer if something slips.
Carrier coordination
From load onboarding through to delivery, we coordinate the transport partner and your customer's requirements with the job. Send site rules, timing, or paperwork the receiver needs with the quote. We pass those on with the job.
If something goes sideways, you hear it from us first.
Updates while it is moving
Time-sensitive freight includes live updates. On any job, a change to the timeline comes from us. The timing we give you is based on the route: which routes run late, and which docks are slow.
Delivery and the invoice
The job is complete at delivery. The invoice matches the all-in number from the quote, so there is no surprise when it lands.
Where Hawk Lane TMS fits
Atwal uses Hawk Lane TMS to keep the job in one system while we coordinate it with the transport partner. You still deal with Atwal for the quote, the updates and the invoice.
